Russell is a respected and versatile actor with wide experience working in theatre, film and television.

Theatre work in London includes 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'The Winter's Tale' with the New Shakespeare Company, the West End hit 'Singing in the Rain' with Tommy Steele at the London Palladium and 'Mr Cinders' at the well-respected fringe venue, The King's Head Theatre.

Outside of London, Russell has been involved in repertory season productions of 'Othello' in Manchester, 'Bouncers' in Birmingham, 'The Miracle Tour' in Cheltenham, 'Domesday' in Farnham and Alan Ayckbourn's 'Absent Friends' in Keswick.

Film work includes appearances alongside Elliot Gould and Ewan McGregor in 'Doggin' Around', and Susannah York and Frank Finlay in 'Romance and Rejection'.
